EQUIPAMIENTO CULTURAL GOÑI PORTAL

Social/cultural Entertainment Service:

This service organises and coordinates services such as the games library, municipal courses, cultural activities and festivals, the children's library, etc.

The service also promotes activities and existing programmes and offers technical assistance.

Games Library:

Area for comprehensive child development through games, toys and group interaction.

Targeted at: The games library programme is targeted at children from 4 to 11 inclusive.

Registration: In order to monitor effectively both the games library (average attendance, type of games used, activities, etc.) and the children taking part (age, sex, address, language model, attendance, etc.) all children are asked to register.

School Classroom:

Children are given the chance to carry out schoolwork in Basque with the aid of a tutor to help reinforce concepts, and assimilate resources and studying habits, according to their age.

It is targeted mainly at children whose parents are not in a position to help them with their Basque.

It also seeks to encourage Basque outside the strict confines of the school

Exhibition Hall:

The programme of exhibitions at Goñi Portal seeks to cover a range of different types of artistic expression.

The hall has a calendar of exhibitions and aims to show two exhibitions per month (one per fortnight).

The exhibition hall can be booked by artists for individual exhibitions, as well as being used for shows organised by the arts centre itself.
