SPORTS FACILITIES

Plentzia has a large number of sports facilities.

Municipal Sports Facilities

Plentzia Jai-Alai Pelota Court. Indoor long pelota court at Calle Plazatxoa on the road into the town. The facility has changing rooms, showers and a cafeteria.
Labasture Pelota Court. Outdoor short pelota court at Labasture Kalea behind the Town Hall (open access).
Tennis Court. Plentzia has two tennis courts, located at Campo de Errotabarri, beside the football pitch, at the entrance to the town from Unbe. The courts can be booked at the Football Grounds.
Football Pitch. Sociedad Deportiva Plentzia, the town's football team has a football pitch at Campo de Errotabarri, on the road into the town from Unbe.
Ardanza Rugby Pitch.
- Private rugby pitch at Txipio: located next to the metro station.
- Municipal rugby pitch at Ardanza: located beside the Urduliz road. It is used by the town's rugby team, Kakarraldo Rugby Taldea.
Labasture Multi-Sports Court. There is a multi-sports court available for five-a-side football, basketball and handball.

The Kai-Eder has:
- An indoor short pelota court (39.6 x 14.5)
- An outdoor short pelota court (33.33 x 12.1)
- Outdoor "Bounce Wall" for children (15 x 7)
- Two outdoor tennis courts (36.5 x 18.2)
- Two outdoor swimming pools (35 and 50 m).
- A children's swimming pool
- An outdoor multi-sports court (27 x 18)
  The complex has men's and women's changing rooms and showers. It is located at Txurrua Kalea, 3 (Tel. 946770876).
The following facilities are available in the Abanico de Plentzia (Isuskiza) private estate:
- Outdoor long pelota court (50 x 11)
- Two outdoor tennis courts (36.6 x 23.8)
- Outdoor swimming pool (25 x 12.5). The complex is located at Barrio Isuskiza. (Tel. 946773363)

Facilities for water sports include rowing and canoeing pavilions at the Paseo de la Playa.
