Plentzia Town Council, through the Basque Language Service of the Association of Municipalities, has organised, among others courses, classes for parents in the municipality. (Further information available at the School of Basque [Euskaltegi])

Public grants for learning or advancement of Basque in Municipal Euskaltegis: regulated under Plentzia Council's "Ordinance on the System of Grants for Students of Basque" (BOB.19/04/1999)

Indispensable requirements:
- Registered residence in the municipal area of Plentzia since the beginning of the academic year, maintained throughout the year.
- Proof of attendance at a minimum of 90% of classes
- Up to date with all payments of taxes, rates and public fees due to Plentzia Town Council
Submission of applications in the offices of Plentzia Town Council, enclosing:
- Report from the Euskaltegi giving the number of hours comprising the course and the applicant's attendance at same.
- Letter of Payment of Enrolment Fee.
